About the Innovation Academy
Focused on all things health innovation, the Innovation Academy leverages Prime Health’s unique role in the community, subject matter expertise, and connections to equip the community with cutting edge content, practical, actionable, meaningful information, hands-on coaching, and DIY resources, toolkits, and guides for successful health innovation.
As a collaborative ecosystem developed by, with, and for the communities we serve, Prime Health strives to continually ask questions and truly listen to what providers need and what barriers are standing in their way to providing the best, most accessible care.
In 2019, Prime Health went on a statewide listening tour of Colorado’s health innovation ecosystem. We met with leadership from hundreds of organizations including safety-net healthcare provider organizations, policymakers, health technology entrepreneurs, payers, investors, and other stakeholders and leaders. We heard an overwhelming need for more training, resources, and support around all things telehealth, health technology, and health innovation.
In response, Prime Health launched the Innovation Academy to support the community in building bridges of connection and understanding, building skills, and building confidence. Our content is created based on the feedback, questions, and gaps identified with the community. We’re constantly updating and tinkering to ensure that our offerings always fresh and maximally relevant.
