Prime Welcome’s Sarah Lampe as new CEO!

Prime Health’s board of directors is excited to announce that Sarah Lampe will be our next President and CEO! 

Sarah comes to us from almost a decade in leadership roles at the Trailhead Institute, most recently as President and Executive Director. Trailhead is a Denver-based non-profit organization focused on advancing innovation and collaboration in public and environmental health. Sarah played a large part in growing their impact over her tenure while staying true to a strong long-term vision and building a phenomenal culture. Learn more about her time at Trailhead in her post here.

Beyond her work at Trailhead, Sarah also serves as a board member on Jefferson County’s Board of Health and has a Masters in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. She has a great reputation as a bold, innovative, and fun leader in the public health community. We believe that her leadership at Prime Health will be exactly what we need as we embark on an exciting new chapter in our organization. 

We opened up this executive search just before the holidays and were astounded by the response of our community. So many of you reached out to apply, refer amazing candidates, or just to see how you can lend a helping hand as we navigated this transition. I want to personally thank everyone who applied. We were truly overwhelmed with the caliber of talent who cared enough about innovation in our healthcare ecosystem to courageously throw their hats in the ring. The wider community of support I felt in my time as interim CEO made my short tenure one of joyous optimism. You reminded me of the passion and commitment to collaboration that our community exudes. 

Sarah is starting with us on February 15, 2024. I can’t wait for you to meet her in this capacity. And I can’t wait for her to feel how much the community is behind our mission, programs, and potential in Colorado, California, and beyond.
